FFmpeg (GNU LGPL)

The Android TV app includes FFmpeg audio decoders under the GNU LGPL version 2.1 or later, built without the GPL and nonfree options. FFmpeg is included as a separate shared library (libffmpegJNI.so) that can be replaced with your own build. We provide the source code of exactly this FFmpeg version and the script we built it with. FFmpeg is a trademark of Fabrice Bellard.

mpv (GNU GPL)

The Windows program plays video and audio with mpv, a separate program (mpv.exe in the program folder) under the GNU GPL version 2 or later, with FFmpeg and other open source libraries built in. Kyvo TV runs it as a separate process and controls it with commands. We provide the source code of exactly this version of mpv and FFmpeg and the scripts used to build the program.

FFmpeg source code N-126918-g939c2c733

mpv-winbuild-cmake build scripts (20260928), which download and build the other libraries

On request sent within 3 years of downloading the program, we will provide the source code of all libraries in this build. Write to us (Contact).
